Tips on using PeriAcryl®
In order to achieve greater viscosity and a smoother finish, it is possible to mix PeriAcryl® (butyl cyanoacrylate), and GluSite® (octyl cyanoacrylate) together. For example, to create a 70% octyl 30% butyl formulation. Use the tray, or any other receptacle and a pipette. Compress the bulb end of the pipette, and while compressing, position the distil tip directly into the opening of the purple material. With the bottle at a slight downward angle, release the compression allowing a small amount of the violet butyl to enter the pipette. Drop three drops into one of the wells/receptacle. Then, using a second pipette, do the same with the clear GluSite®. This time drop seven drops into the same well. To mix the two, use the same pipette, insert the tip in the well and squeeze and release the bulb end several times. Draw up the mixed formulation for your procedure.
